Because of their quiet operation, reliability and low power consumption, they are recommended for domestic and civil use, particularly for pressurization and distribution of water in conjunction with autoclave tanks, rainwater recovery, irrigation systems, etc.
They are recommended for sucking clean water even in the presence of air mixed with the pumped liquid and liquids that are chemically non-aggressive to the pump's constituent materials.
Installation is to be carried out indoors or otherwise protected from the weather.
