Fireproof boxes

UNI 70 - UNI 45 fire-fighting boxes with the minimum equipment and fittings required by UNI 10779 standards in painted sheet metal, stainless steel or plastic according to requirements and needs. The products are certified and manufactured according to UNI EN standards in the field of fire protection. Possibility of posts of different sizes. Complete with hoses and lances. Made of red painted sheet metal or stainless steel or plastic, they are equipped with all the tools required by UNI 10779, which defines the characteristics of fire-fighting systems according to the hazard and type of protection. UNI 10779 standard for Fire Boxes The need for installation of a network of hydrants with their accompanying fire boxes is established as part of the fire risk assessment plan. According to the aforementioned standard, the hazard level for schools is level 1 up to level 2 for civilian dwellings. Specifically, the UNI standard identifies a minimum kit to be associated with the fire box consisting of the operating key, lance, hose, fittings and saddle. Depending on the needs and the level of hazard identified in the fire plan, the boxes can be made of painted sheet metal with a solid door, that is, without a plate, or with a plate that in turn can be frangible or unbreakable. If it is required by the same plan or according to other assessments, it is possible to choose fire boxes with double equipment, i.e., consisting of the same minimum equipment required by UNI 10779 in double version. The different UNI 45 and UNI 70 version indicates the diameter of the hoses used in the system which must be made according to UNI 9478 standards with UNI 804 compliant fittings. The sizing of them as well as the different diameter of the nozzles is related to the characteristics of the plant in terms of flow rate. The nozzles can be made of copper or brass. The three-effect lance is connected to a hose of lengths of 20, 25 and 30 meters with UNI certification. Fire boxes can be either freestanding with a support stand, wall-mounted or recessed in the wall. In the latter two cases, product data sheets specify how they are to be installed: wall recessed boxes in particular must not have any protrusions. The sizing and use of fasteners must be suitable. Unified cistern elements meet not only quality requirements but which are also required by relevant standards. In addition, the cassettes and in particular the hoses as well as the lances are subject to periodic inspections aimed at verifying their integrity and regular operation.
